Jaqueline S. Amick

Jackie Amick is a paralegal and executive assistant to senior attorney Ed Matthews with Gudorf Law Group. She began working at the firm in April 2023, bringing 20 years of experience in the legal field with her. Jackie is responsible for a wide variety of tasks at the office, ranging from planning Legacy Club events, to assisting with marketing and business development, and helping clients through the estate planning process.

Clients are most likely to encounter Jackie when she is conducting intakes to gather the information that will be included in their estate plans and while they are executing their estate planning documents. She also actively engages with clients at the firm’s events and workshops, answering questions, addressing concerns, and offering support wherever needed. Jackie takes pride in assisting with establishing an estate plan for each client that will preserve their assets and provide for their loved ones in the future.

Jackie obtained a Certificate of Distinction in Paralegal Studies from the American Institute for Paralegal Studies. She also attended Indiana Central University where she studied Business Administration and Accounting, and the College of Southern Maryland where she focused on Criminal Justice. An experienced seamstress and quilter, Jackie enjoys being creative and making many different types of crafts when she is not in the office. She also especially loves spending time with her husband and grandson while attending car shows, hiking, biking, reading, and exploring new places.
