Mike joined Gudorf Law Group in 2014. With over a decade of practice experience, Mike focuses his practice on estate planning, including asset protection, working with farmers and small business owners, planning for special needs, and planning for same-sex couples. He also has an extensive background in estate, trust, and guardianship litigation.
Mike is committed to offering clients both legal knowledge and compassion in planning for their families and future. He understands that individuals and families face important decisions when considering everything they have accumulated through the years and everyone they love. Mike's practice approach is to work closely with his clients to allay fears and accomplish goals with personal support and the clear information needed to properly plan. Licensed in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky, Mike is able to serve clients in the Southwest Ohio region and beyond.
Mike has been named a Rising Star by Ohio's Super Lawyers. He remains steadfast in understanding the law, as he consistently works to refine and share his professional skills. Having served as faculty for a number of legal seminars, including the National Business Institute and WealthCounsel State Forums, Mike enjoys teaching in the context of educating his clients as well as in the context of facilitating other professionals in developing their legal knowledge. Mike's parents taught him - through words and example - the value in helping others. This ethic is the reason Mike chose law as a profession.
When not working with clients or teaching, Mike serves on the Board of Directors for Charlie’s Kids, Inc., a non-profit organization which advocates SIDS awareness and safe-sleep practices. He is also actively involved with the Reds Community Fund, the charitable arm of the Cincinnati Reds. In his spare time, Mike enjoys going to Reds and Dragons games, is an avid FC Cincinnati supporter, and spends time on the golf course.
