Paralegal Angela Sturckler has been with Gudorf Law Group since August 2023, when she joined the firm to provide support in the Estate Administration department. Clients often encounter Angela when they contact Gudorf Law for help with a deceased loved one’s trust or other estate matters. Angela’s responsibilities include preparing trust reports and accountings; drafting trust administration forms; making phone calls to track down essential information; correspondence; and numerous other tasks to make clients’ lives easier at a difficult time.
Although she excels at her duties, Angela did not initially train for a career in the legal field. She has both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master’s Degree in Education from Wright State University. Prior to becoming a paralegal, Angela taught math for nearly a decade at the Dayton Job Corps Center. Her background in education serves her well in her current role, which requires both clear communication and attention to detail.
Colleagues appreciate Angela’s organizational skills and reliability; clients often remark on her compassion, calling her a good listener who is easy to talk to. For her part, Angela’s favorite part of her work at Gudorf Law Group is getting to make a difference in the lives of the firm’s clients, and the opportunity to learn and grow daily. As she observes, no two days are alike, and each brings the opportunity to meet new people and help clients overcome challenges.
When not serving the firm’s clients, Angela enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews, volunteering at her church, and caring for her “fur baby,” a German Shepherd rescue dog named Penny.
