Melissa Dawson joined Gudorf Law Group in August 2024 as the Office Coordinator, where she plays a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations. Her responsibilities include client scheduling as the lead scheduler, answering phones, conducting intakes, and preparing files, as well as greeting clients and making them feel welcome. Melissa also assists with coordinating Asset Alignment Workshops and Gudorf’s Legacy Club events, providing essential support to clients and colleagues.

Melissa brings over two decades of professional experience to Gudorf Law Group. She spent 23 years in the airline industry, serving as a flight attendant for 18 years, then as a crew scheduler and training administrator. During her airline career, Melissa excelled in customer relations, scheduling, and communication. She enjoyed interacting with individuals from various backgrounds, including high-profile clients. Her ability to manage diverse situations and provide exceptional service has been a cornerstone of her career.

In addition to her extensive experience in the airline industry, Melissa is a licensed massage therapist, a profession she practiced for five years before stepping back during COVID-19.
She also worked at Dayton Job Corps as a student scheduler and testing coordinator, further refining her organizational and administrative abilities. At Gudorf Law Group, Melissa applies these skills to ensure a seamless experience for clients, helping the office function efficiently.

Melissa enjoys many hobbies, including baking, sewing, and exploring nature. She and her husband are frequent moviegoers and share a love for the horror genre. A strong advocate for family, Melissa values time spent with loved ones and adores caring for her puppy. Additionally, she is interested in meditation and healing, maintaining a balanced and optimistic approach to life.
