Jeff Griffith & Megan Gaskin Named Partner at Dayton Estate Planning

Gudorf Law Group LLC a Dayton-based practice focusing on estate planning estate administration and elder law announced it has recently named Megan L. Gaskin and Jeffrey A. Griffith as partners with long time Dayton attorney Ted Gudorf.

Megan L. Gaskin JD
Attorney Megan Gaskin graduated from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2014. The Hamersville Ohio native came to Gudorf Law Group to concentrate on estate planning and elder law. She utilizes her extensive prior real estate law experience as part of her estate planning practice. In addition she manages Gudorf Law Group’s Estate Planning Department.
“My favorite thing about this practice is the opportunity to collaborate with clients to plan for their future and to ensure security for their families” Gaskin said. “I enjoy working at GLG because it is a boutique law firm specializing in estate planning and is focused on providing high quality customized estate plans for its growing client base.”
Gaskin’s practice focuses on estate planning asset protection business succession planning and non-traditional families. She also enjoys working with farm clients and assisting existing clients with keeping their plans up-to-date.
Gaskin is a member of the Dayton Chamber of Commerce Executive Women’s Council and is a strong community advocate for LGBTQ rights. She and her husband Jared Embree live in north Dayton.
Jeffrey A. Griffith JD
Attorney Jeffrey Griffith graduated from the prestigious St. Louis University School of Law in 1999. Prior to joining Gudorf Law Group LLC in 2022 Griffith spent over two decades practicing law with an established law firm in Columbus. Today he manages Gudorf Law Group’s Probate and Trust Administration Department.
“I have dedicated my career to estate and trust matters which is why I worked so hard to be a certified specialist in estate planning trust and probate law through the Ohio State Bar Association” Griffith said. According to the OSBA website fewer than 200 attorneys in the State of Ohio have earned this distinction.
As part of his practice Griffith advises trustees and personal representatives of estates on all aspects of trust and probate matters. His work also involves collaborating with other professionals such as certified public accountants certified financial planners bankers and title companies. “My experience allows me to help clients navigate an often-unfamiliar process with clarity and confidence” he said.
Outside the office Griffith can be found spending time with his wife Angie and their two children or continuing to make improvements to the 19th Century farmhouse he restored for use as his family’s home.
