No one likes to think about losing a loved one. But when the unthinkable happens, you need people you can lean on and trust to help you make difficult decisions and move forward. I became an attorney because I wanted to be that person for others.
Helping people has always been a passion of mine, so when I began studying law, I chose estate and trust administration—a practice area focused on working with families who have suffered a loss and need trusted counsel when they are feeling their most vulnerable. My deepest desire is to take some of the burden off their shoulders so they can grieve without added stress.
After graduating from Miami University with a Bachelor of Science and earning my Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, I worked for a variety of respected law firms in Ohio, gaining expertise and experience in estate planning, elder law, and related tax issues. I spent many years in the courtroom, litigating for my clients, before joining the esteemed team at Gudorf Law Group.
Today, with more than 20 years of experience practicing law in the state of Ohio, I spend my days providing extensive trust administration, estate, long-term care, elder law, and Medicaid planning counsel and strategies to our clients. I offer a full-service experience so that my clients can breathe easier, knowing they have someone in their corner helping them with heartbreaking life circumstances and the decisions that follow. I also manage Gudorf Law’s probate and trust administration department, ensuring that our services and expertise consistently meet the needs of our clients and uphold Gudorf’s reputation of being a caring, knowledgeable firm that prioritizes relationships and puts clients first.
There are many things to love about my career, but without a doubt, the best part is seeing the weight lifted off a client’s shoulders when they realize they no longer have to worry about managing their loved one’s estate or trust. The peace that comes from having an advocate to guide and support them makes a significant impact on their lives. My clients are at the heart of all I do, and it is a privilege to serve them in this way.
We’d love to help you stop worrying about your estate or your loved ones’ affairs by taking care of the details and giving you clarity to make stress-free decisions.
